Keyword research is critical to making money blogging. No, this isn’t your Julie and Julia – How To Make Money Blogging by being popular by accident (good movie by the way), but this is how it’s really done and this is easily repeatable by anyone who wants to make money from home.
<h1>How To Make Money Fast Blogging – The Set Up</h1>
1. Go to Blogger.com and click the Create A Blog Button. If you already have a Google account (from Google Groups or Gmail) then you can sign in, then click to create your blog. We are using Blogger for 3 main reasons.
1. Although they take a little longer to rank at first, it has been known for a long time that Google loves Blogger.com (They do own them.)
2. It is a super simple blog. It has all of what you need, and little of what you don’t. Even non techy people will be alright.
3. Blogger allows you to put Adsense on your blog and collect ALL of the revenue. There are a lot of other places that you can get a free blog, but almost all want you to either do a revenue share, or they take all the money, or there are tons of advertising from there clients. None of which is good for you.
So, you can rank well, you don’t have other peoples ads, and you get to monetize and keep all the money. Oh yeah, they don’t have some dumb rule that you can’t market affiliate products like some other free hosted blogs platforms.
Fill in the information like name, password, email address and whatnot.
2. Next Create your blog. If you have already done your niche market and keyword research like we talked about in the previous post, finding profitable niche markets, then you already have a keyword phrase that you want to target.
Put that keyword in the title and in the domain url. I usually just make the title and the url the same. If the URL isn’t available just add hyphens to it or a word on the end or beginning.

Later when we talk about SEO, you will see that this is of the utmost importance to have keywords in your title and URL. This is most of your “on page optimization”.
Then after that select the first template that they give you… called Minima.
3. Set Up your blog. Click the settings tab at the top and enter in a Title and Description. You want to put your keywords in here because it will tell the Search Engines what your site is about. Also it helps to write a decent, description because this is what the searchers will see when they find your site on the homepage. It’s like an ad for your site.
Next you will want to click the formatting tab under the settings tab. In there you want to change your blog to show one post and change the link field to yes.
The reason you only want to show one post per page is for two reasons. 1. It’s easier to optimize you page for a keyword that is going to bring in a solid cost per click (more money per click) and 2. It’s easier for getting and keeping the readers attention.
4. Make your first post. Make the first post title the same title as your blog title. Then mention the keyword one time in the first sentence.
Ex: If your blog title is: How To Make Money On The Internet… your first post title should be “How To Make Money On The Internet”. And your first sentence should read something like… If you have bed bugs and want to know how to get rid of bed bugs fast, then this is the most important article you’ve read all day. Here’s why:
This style of writing not only gets you ranked high in the search engines it is ok for a reader. Not that that is super important for making money with Adsense. Because honestly you don’t want to write award winning content, just good enough, because you want users to click on your ads.

Don’t under extimate the power and earning potential of a Blogger Blog. You can make serious money from home if you will just put these tips to work.
