Step #3: Give them what they already want to buy. You do this by writing an article and submitting it to a high authority article directory that is 350-450 words long. Then you put your unique affiliate link in author’s resource box that links to the hot product that is a solution to their desperation. The major directories are Ezinearticles.com, Goarticles.com, and Articlebase.com. If you are using a direct affiliate link on Ezinearticles.com they won’t let you so you have to use a redirect… meaning that you have to have your own site. You would then just create a folder and create a index.html page that folder and put this code in there:

Step #4: You get a few links to the article to insure ranking and traffic. Simply rewrite the article and submit the rewrites to other article directories and link back to your “money article” with the keyword phrase hyperlinked that you want to rank for or a very close variation.

Step #5: Monitor and track everything. You want to monitor your rankings, track your click throughs, and track your sales for different affiliate programs. If you have an article in the #4 spot and your making some sales, then you need to get a few more links to it that it can rank #1 and make even more sales. Track your sales for different programs. If you find that you’re making money with one affiliate program, then try and find more buyer keywords that you can send more traffic to that program. Remember it’s the market where the sales are.

These sites have extra trust rank with the search engines and when ever they have new content posted on there sites they get close to immediate indexing and start showing up in the search engines with good ranking very quickly, ESPECIALLY FOR NON COMPETITIVE TERMS!

Some of the sites include Ezinearticles.com, Goarticles.com, and Articlebase.com. What’s cool about these sites is that they are article directories and you can write a quick article in like 15-30 minutes targeting a specific keyword phrase and submit it to them and have your content indexed and on the front page of Google, Yahoo, & Bing in days for non competitive terms and in a week or couple weeks for more competitive terms.

The only hang up that you could possibly have with this is that you think that you’re not a writer and that somehow you think that you have to be a article writing superstar to get your article accepted and ranked.

Not so. Look at this post, I am sure that it has a ton of grammatical errors, spelling, and you probably had to read a sentence twice just to understand what the heck I was saying.

Oh well. I just started typing, and this is what came out. I edited once and that was it. I don’t care. This is exactly how I write my articles for the directories. They are conversational in tone, written to where a 5th grader would understand every word.

That’s all there is to it. When you submit articles to the directories they should between 350-450 words.

Now I am a fan of writing long post because you will find that the search engines really love it and they rank you for all kinds of keywords in the article that you probably never even thought that you’d get traffic for, but when you are article writing for cash:

You want to give them enough info to wet there whistle, you want to build a little trust with you, then you want them to finish reading so that the can click your link and get taken over to your affiliate product where they can really get their problem solved and you can get paid.

If you want to make money from on the Internet you will have to know exactly how to find a hot market and how to reach them with sort of advertising. In this post I will show you how to effectively discover hot markets.

How To Make Money Fast – Hot Markets

A hot market is one that is desperate for a solution or are on the verge of buying, they are actively searching for a solution to a problem, and has the money to spend on the solution.

Start by brainstorming problems that you have had in the past. What problems have you faced that were a pain to overcome? What about family, friends, love ones… Do you see any pressing issues rising in the media? What’s problems are being addressed on the covers of popular magazines?

Write this down.

This is the beginning of finding a hot market. You don’t have to know anything about the market, but this drill helps you to find hot markets that you understand and know a little about. This will make the process of creating content later even easier… but if you don’t don’t worry it won’t matter at all.

If you want to find more ideas, look at the covers of popular magazines. What are they advertising? What topics do you regularly see on the covers specifically. You can do this research on magazines.com or grab a tea and go to your local bookstore.

These people want help and need it fast. As you find keywords that are good ones, have a second web page open where you can do searches and check for competition. In order to check for competition you will do a search for “YOUR KEYWORD PHRASE” in quotes and look at he results.

You want to target keyword phrases that have less than 7,000 competing websites. That is people who are targeting this phrase on their pages.

Essentially you’re creating the perfect storm. Your getting your marketing message in front of highly targeted markets that are ready to buy that are not hard to reach because it’s not very competitive.

When you find keywords that meet your criteria, put them in a notepad file and save it.

How To Know What They Want

Once you know how to find hot markets you have to find what they want… I mean you know that they want a solution, but you need to know what people in that market are already buying. You want to find out what the hottest selling products in that market are. These are products that have already proven to sell and already proven to be “what the market wants”.

For digital products you can also go over to Clickbank.com and click on the link that says marketplace at the top. Then search the category that you are interested in and look at the top 50 products ranked by popularity. For physical products you can head over to the eBay and look at what products are being offered on the homepage and you can go to pulse.ebay.com. This will tell you the top 10 hot products selling in their respective categories.

You start by going over to the Google Adwords Keyword Tool. This will help you get some serious understanding of what you market is searching for exactly.

The keywords have to be non competitive and they will be if you really dig in and find keywords that are 4+ words and target and hot market.

For example: Foreclosures are hot right now right? This is a hot market from so many different angles. A keyword like “how to save your house from foreclosure” is non competitive, but targets a really hot market. The phrase gets about 110 searches a month, but is highly targeted and easy to get traffic to since there are only 299 other sites that even target this phrase.

Each keyword represents a market. Once you find a couple handfulls of keywords your ready for the next step.

How To Give Them Want They Want

You do that with an article and a link to an affiliate product. The easiest way to do this is to find an affiliate program (product) that you can sign up with that solves the problem of the searcher.

Get your unique affiliate link for the product and then just write an article and post it on either Goarticles.com, Ezinearticles.com or Articlebase.com. At the end of the article you will link to the affiliate program with your unique link. If the person buys then you will make a commission and a check will be sent to your house.

If you are struggling getting ranked in the search engines, having a hard time getting free traffic, or feeling disappointed about search engine traffic and SEO, then this will be the most important post that you have read all year.

I will show you a way to get guaranteed first page rankings if you follow these simple little secrets that I will lay out in the post.

I have noticed so many people disappointed, struggling, and downright ready to throw in the towel because they can’t get their sites ranked in the search engines, they can’t get free traffic, and they can’t make any money because of that.

Bum Blogging: How To Get Ranked On The First Page Of Google, Yahoo, & Bing In 24-72 Hours

I can’t take all the credit for this strategy, it’s become popular because of the Bum Marketing Method by Travis, but this is not how I came to using this strategy. The process of getting indirect rankings actually became known to me by Alexis Dawes. I have since played with, modified, and used this strategy for so many different promotions. It’s become by own. But I gave it this name because it sounded cooler and more popular than what I had named it before. lol Thanks Travis.

In the Bum Marketing Method Travis talks about finding keywords that you can get ranked for quickly, writing an article that targets that keyword, and posting to a high authority article directory so that it ranks fast. You then promote a related affiliate product in the authors resource box and send the traffic there.

You then repeat this as much as possible. What I am about to teach you is very similar to this, but with a slight difference. This step by step strategy below will show you how to make money fast on the Internet.

First is the keyword research. You must first find a keyword that has two things going for it.

1. It must be being targeting, or being searched by, people who are desperately looking for a solution to a pain or problem, or are on the verge of buying already.

2. There must be less than 7,000 optimized competing sites for the keyword. You can check for this by going to Yahoo and searching your keyword phrase with “” around it. Can you go after a larger market? Yes, but I am showing how to get ranked in 24-72 hours and start receiving that free traffic fast. You can go after any keyword you want with this strategy it just will take longer. That’s not the goal of this post.

Next you need to set up your blog. You can set up your blog on either your own domain or using a blogger blog. If you don’t know how to set up a blog, then read my Blogger Tutorial.

Once you have your blog set up, with your big block of Adsense at the top and Statcounter code in place, and at least one long post, you can move on to the next step.

Thirdly, you need to write or rewrite an article that targets the Bum keyword phrase that we talked about earlier and post it to either: goarticles, ezinearticles, articlebase, or searchwarp. These are authority sites, loved by Google & Yahoo & Bing, and they get rankings fast. If you target the right keywords, then you will rank fast. The keyword that you target in the article, that you are submitting to one of the above directories, should be the same or related keyword that you are targeting on your Bum Blog.

Search Engine Optimization for Dummies

This is all the on-page SEO that you need to know for this strategy: Put the keyword phrase that you are targeting in the title of the article, in the first sentence, a few times in the body (no more than 3-4 times per 100 words), bold it in a sub-headline, and put it in the final sentence.

Once you submit that article and that article is approved, you need to start sending links to that article. You only need a few to rank in the first few spots.

The best way to do this is to “rewrite” the article, which can be automated with article rewriter software, and submit that article to other directories and blogs with backlink pointing at the main article on the first directory.

As if targeting the right keywords and putting the information on a high authority site wasn’t enough, you will get ranking from just this, but we want that ranking to be a guaranteed #1-#3 ranking and for it to stick.

In the article you want to redirect that traffic to your Bum Blog with a link pointing to it. Depending on the article directory depends on how early in the article that you can put the link, but for most it’s in the third paragraph or just below. Your articles don’t need to be long. They should be between 350-600 words.

The only reason I am saying that you want a shorter article here is because you really just want them to get to the link as soon as possible so that they can click over to your site, see your big Adsense block, and click away so that you can make money. Also if the article is shorter, then you can whip them out faster.

The other fab part about doing this is that you are promoting your own site, and building it’s authority too. Eventually your blog will start to rank in it’s own right for it’s own keywords and you will be controlling more first page real estate.

This is how you get on the first page in 24-72 hours. You indirectly rank your article on high authority article directories, you send the traffic to your Bum Blog via link or two, and you monitor your stats and traffic.

You then find more related keyword phrase that match the Bum criteria, create more articles, rewrite and link to the original on the main article directory, and get more indirect rankings, send more traffic to your site, and make more money.

You can even do this by only having a one or two long post on your blog.

Please, please, please, if you are honestly struggling trying to get free search engine traffic to your site, don’t take this post lightly. I just showed you a way to dominate your keyword phrase (or related keyword phrases) in a matter of days, start receiving free targeted traffic from the search engines, and start making money with Adsense or the like in days. Not months, not years, for free.

If your Bum Blog targets a market like I described earlier you will have a very high clickthrough rate on your Adsense ads, and because the traffic is targeted and of the highest quality, you will have a very high cost per click. This means that you will make more money with less traffic and be able to do all of this for free.

If you want to rank high in the search engines and get a lot of free high quality traffic to your site, then you will need to know how to get one way backlinks.

Getting targeted one-way backlinks pointing to your site is the single biggest factor in determining your search engine ranking.

I just wrote a post: search engine optimization for dummies, that goes in good detail about how to get free traffic and the basics of search engine optimization. I am not going to go over that here in this post.

I am going to assume that you have either read that post or you understand that backlinks are the most important factor in where you rank in the search engines.

We are going to start this post here:

How To Get One Way Backlinks

You know that I apply the 80/20 rule to all of my business as much as I can. If you apply the 80/20 to getting backlinks, then you will have to use a blog.

Why?

Blogging is a simple way to add content to your site.

Blogging is a simple and quick way to syndicate your content and get links.

Blogging is a simple way to make money fast from home.

First is your keyword research. You should have the main keyword that you want to rank your website for, and then you should have related long tail keywords that you want to rank each individual post for.

Some people blog just for the sake of blogging, the style of blogging that I am teaching you is for the sake of getting free search traffic and making money.

So, you need to target keywords money keywords.

Money keywords are keywords that:

1. People typing them in have a problem or pain and are looking for a solution (how to get rid of flees) or are on the verge of buying (St. Cecilian 16 x 16 inch tile review).

2. The keywords have less than 7,000 competing sites (for specific post, not your main keyword).

Those are the main two factors that I look at. If you follow these two rules, then you will be creating targeted post that have a desperate market looking for a solution to a pain and you will be able to rank quickly to get in front of that market.

Next write a blog post targeting that keyword. That means that you need to use on-page optimization for the post.

Then rewrite that post and submit it to a major article directory and put a link in the article or authors resource box that links back to your original post. This article should be at least 70% rewritten so that it is considered unique to the search engines and is picked up and put into their index. Simply using synonyms will allow you to accomplish this.

If the article directory let’s you (most will), put a second link that links back to your homepage for a related major keyword.

Repeat this process as many times and you want. Some major directories are: ezinearticles, goarticles, searchwarp, articlealley, amazines, articlebase. I am not linking to them because they link to me and I want those links to be one way.

VERY IMPORTANT: You can automate rewriting your articles and submitting your articles. I mean really automate it. The whole thing you are trying to accomplish is making the most of your content and continuing to get one way links to your site and individual pages consistently. You can read more about that here: Mass Article Control vs. Magic Article Rewriter.

I try and automate as much as I can in my business. Once you really grasp this concept you will discover that it will be hard to compete with you in any niche that you go after.

If you target the right keywords, intralink your post, and rewrite and mass submit each post to a number of different blogs and directories all with links pointing back to your site, you will rank. But I can tell your hungry for more ideas.

Here’s a few more ways to get links:

Purchase links from other sites. I won’t recommend this as you can get caught and it could cost you your rankings, but I will say this, I see a lot of sites doing this, and if you target really competitive niches you may find that you cannot compete unless you do do this. That’s all I will say about this subject as I don’t want to cause any red flags with the Big G or with the Big Y.

Reciprocal linking. So, many people say that this is dead, but I assure you that it is not. I DON’T mean that you go and sign up for a reciprocal link service and put up a link exchange page. That doesn’t work and is dead. But giving and exchanging links with related blogs that you like (friends) is great. These links generally don’t count as much, but if the site is an authority site for it’s keywords, then they do count a lot. The web is about linking. Just don’t link to bad sites and your good.

Swapping links with other webmasters. This is slightly different than reciprocal linking because with reciprocal linking I am more so referring to friends, but with link swapping I am referring to finding other highly ranked sites (related, but not necessarily your competition) and contacting them about exchanging links. This can be very time consuming though as you will get a lot of nos.

Set up your own network of related themed authority sites and link them together. This can be very time consuming, but can be very effective. I won’t say to do this or not to do this because it can be a gray area for the search engines and I don’t want to mention it much on this site. I can say that I see a lot of my friends using this strategy because it works. Just make sure that the content is unique. It doesn’t have to be great award winning content, that’s not it’s purpose. You will need multiple domains. You can use free hosted domains like blogger, wordpress, multiply, and today to create these sites. Or you can host them on your own domain with different hosting accounts.

Press releases. I love this strategy, but can be costly. If your goal is to have only one or two sites that bring in a majority of your money and not a bunch of sites that bring a little bit each, then PRs work really well and will be worth the money to submit at least one. Sites like PRNews and Webwire are great for getting links.

YouTube. Now, I didn’t say video sites, because this is the 80/20 rule kicking into effect. YouTube is an autority site and lets you link in the description back to your site… and the link is a real live link. The other video directory sites don’t do this. The link is not a hyperlink. Now you don’t get to anchor the link, but you can just put in your http://yourdomain dot com and it will hyperlink when the video goes live.

Writing unique content for webmasters who post your content on their sites. Whenever someone post your articles on their sites from the article directories, you can contact them and tell them that you will write them a unique article for their site.

You should know know how to get one way backlinks, and you now have plenty of ways to get links, most of them free.

Note: You really only need to focus on, writing a post and publishing it, then rewriting it and mass submitting it. Link back to your post (deep link) and link back to your homepage. That’s it.

Then try to get your unique rewritten articles in as many places as possible with varying anchor links pointing back at your site.

Sounds like work doesn’t it? That’s why this is a work from home business. If you do the right keyword research, you will rank fast and easy and you will start to make money… but hey what’s the alternative? Working 9-5 for someone else. Slaving for someone else. Having no job security anyway.

One last thing. Once you see your article being posted in places, go and get links to the articles linking to you. This will raise the quality of those links and make those links worth more.

On-Page Optimization is simply doing what is needed on your page so that it has the greatest potential to rank well in the Google, Yahoo, and Bing (MSN).

If we apply the 80/20 rule here, here are the most important on-page optimization factors that you need to pay attention to:

Put your keywords in your URL. (If you already own the URL obviously there is nothing that you can about that.)

Put your keyword in the title of the site and in each post. Yes, the keywords that you put for the “entire site” is different than the keyword you put in a post. Each blog post should be targeting a specific keyword phrase.

Put the keyword phrase that you are targeting in the first sentence (or at least the first paragraph), sprinkled throughout the body of the post, and in the last paragraph. Don’t use the keyword more than 4 times per 100 words.

Try and bold the keyword at least one time in the post. I usually do this in a sub-headline or something.

Intralink blog post that are already on your site with targeted anchor text links. Basically link to another related page on your site with text that describes that page and that you want to be ranked for. Meaning if you want to rank a page for how to make money on the Internet, then you need to link to it like that. Intralinking is a overlooked strategy that can really help you rank well.

One last thing about on-page optimization. Target only one keyword per post. In some cases you can target two, but that’s it. Google and Yahoo have shown marketers time and and time again that if you want a high quality score for a page and high relevancy for the keyword that you are targeted, which does effect your ranking, then you need to target one keyword per page. This will make ranking easier.

If you don’t, then you will have a low quality score and need a lot more links and quality links in order to rank for a phrase than you normally would if you targeted one phrase per post.

For the most part that is the 20% of on-page optimization that you need to do that will bring you 80% (or more) of the results.

Now here’s the most important factor of all. On-page won’t mean crap unless you have great off-page optimization.

This is were the ranking really comes from. This is why I don’t believe that you should post more than 1-2 times per week unless you just have ample time to do so, because you need to be spending that time getting links.

That’s what off-page optimization is all about, and this is where you should be spending 80% of your time. Most people spend so much time with posting and on-page optimization and then wonder why they have no ranking. I learned this the hard way.

You have to spend time getting links to your post and to your homepage or you won’t get any ranking.

Off-page search engine optimization is simply the art of getting targeted anchor text links pointing at a page. The more targeted, high quality links that you have pointing at your page, the higher you will rank for a particular search term. If you want to rank #1 for a keyword phrase you have to know how to get one way backlinks. If you can master this, you can master getting free traffic.

Don’t over do it though. It has to be natural. You don’t want to go out and get links and every single one says the exact same thing. That’s not natural.

You don’t want to get hundreds of links of the same kind, out of the blue, pointing to one page and never get anymore links or get any links to any others page on your site.

You need a variety of links, you need them to come in consistently, you need them to point to different pages on your site, you need high and low PR links, and you need various keyword targeted backlinks pointing to you. This is natural. This is how you link… and you need to intralink your own post.

Off-page optimization is where you should spend your time. This is what brings in the rankings and thus the free traffic and thus the money.

Go out and get links pointing to your site for keyword terms that you want to rank for, get them to point to several pages on your site, get them coming in day in and day out for the phrases that you want to rank for, don’t quit, don’t give up, don’t stop. Just do it. You will rank.

WARNING: Keyword Research

Keyword research is critical. It’s not just about getting traffic to your blog, it’s about getting targeted traffic. This is why search engine traffic is the best traffic that you can get. Your market is out searching, looking, trying to find a solution. Your information is that solution.

…But if you don’t target the right keywords they may never find you.

If you target the right keywords, then you can get ranked in the search engines quicker and higher and be receiving very highly targeted traffic.

For instance: if you target keywords that have less than 7,000 sites optimized for that keyword, then you will be able to rank quicker and faster for that keyword than if you were trying to rank #1 for a keyword that has 100,000 targeted optimized sites.

Not that you can’t rank for a competitive term you can, but you want to rank for both competitive and non-competitive terms. Start ranking for long tail non-competitive terms first, then start to go for the more competitive related terms.

If you start with keyword phrases that allow you to rank in an ascending order, then this makes it really easy.

Example:

Rank for this how to get free traffic fast, then how to get free traffic, then how to get traffic.

That way when you are getting links for how to get free traffic fast you are also getting links for how to get traffic.

This will help you when you start to target that phrase later.

How do you check for how many sites are optimized for a keyword?

Just go to Yahoo and type in your keyword phrase in the search bar and put “” around it. Then do the search. The results will be sites that actually are targeting that exact keyword phrase.

This will tell you how much competition you have for a keyword. The less the competition the faster and easier it will be to rank for.

The more of these types of rankings that you can get the easier they are to hold on to also. This traffic can add up quickly.

I mostly use the free Google External Keyword Tool. It gives me everything that I need, but I sometimes use Keyword Elite to help find long tail keyword phrases… aka non-competitive phrases.

This is how you rank #1 in the search engines, this is how you get free traffic, this is how you make money and cut ad cost and get free advertising on the most visited websites in the world.

Don’t take this info lightly. This is how you use SEO to rank. Yes, you need to learn more of the details like how to get links and what not, but this is the gist of it.

If you are reading this article right now, it is because I am ranking on page #1 of Google, Yahoo, & Bing for some major keyword terms and getting absolutely free traffic, and it is NOT because of Mass Article Control, but of a article spinner and article submitter that is far more easy, more automated, and superior than Mass Article Control, but most people won’t tell you this.

Here’s the story:

It has been pissing me off that everywhere you look for Mass Article Control Reviews that you see people promoting it, but with just a simple page with some content that they copied from the sales page of Mass Article Control and a link like: here go and buy it.

They don’t tell you anything real about the product, they don’t give you a comparison, and honestly, they don’t even explain why you should buy it or not.

They only care about making a few bucks, and not whether or not you get bamboozled.

Anyway, what they heck is Mass Article Control all about?

To be short, It’s a article spinner and article submitter.

What is the point in having it?

You are suppose to be able to take content that you’ve written (or had written) and turn that article into a ton of “unique articles”.

Then you can take each of those unique articles and submit them to article directories so that you can have a lot of links pointing back to your site.

Why do you want one way backlinks pointing back to your site?

Because the more targeted one way anchored backlinks you have pointing back to your site the higher you will rank for a keyword phrase that you want to rank for in the search engines sending you a lot of free traffic.

Just like I am doing with this article right now. But it’s not with Mass Article Control. I will tell you more in just a second. This is far better as you can see.

What’s the problem with Mass Article Control Then?

First, in the little video that they try and sell you on the sales letter they take someone else’s article from eZinearticles.com and then change a couple of words and then spin it into a 1,000 articles.

…Then they say oh we just wanted to show you the power of our spinner.

You probably saw that and went OMG (Oh my goodness). That is so incredible, I want it.

But that is NOT awesome.

First of all that is Plagiarism. They didn’t change enough of the article to make it your own. I know, I know, they just want you to think that it is so easy. But do you want to be lied to or do you want the truth? Can you handle the truth?

Secondly, even if that were your own article, that isn’t enough changing to make it unique to Google or Yahoo when it is submitted to all the article directories so they won’t count the link or include the article in their search results anyway. If the link isn’t going to count what is the point of all of that work?

So, all that work is pointless!

Thirdly, there was their spinner that submits to a whole 10 directories.

Don’t get me wrong, any help that you can get that will save time is awesome, but these guys are walking around on cloud nine because their submitter submits to 10 whole directories.

That’s not the best part, these are the hardest directories to get in. They are reviewed by real human editors and they don’t just put anything in their directories. This is why they are loved by Google and Yahoo and Bing (MSN).

They check for duplicate content. They only want good unique content, and they are not going to stake their reputation and Google & Yahoo love because they want some product to succeed and make you happy.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot about this, if they only submit to 10 directories, what the HECK do you need to create 100’s of articles for?

Think about that one for a second. Let it settle in. A very good question eh?

Fourthly, they tell you are going to make all this money. The only way that you are going to make any money is if you learn how to send quality traffic to a page that converts traffic into sales at a solid conversion rate.

What is the correct way to write, spin, submit, and rank high in the search engines?

1. Create a page that promotes a product.

2. Write a unique article.

3. Rewrite it so that it is at least 70% unique.

4. Submit unique articles to hundreds of article directories with links pointing at your product promotion page so that it ranks high for your keyword and gets a heck of a lot of free traffic because of it. Just like I am doing with this article right now. I wrote it and posted it, I rewrote it a bunch of times so that it was unique, and I submitted each one to a bunch of directories and each one has a one way links back to this article.

But this article is my seed article. You don’t submit “okie dokie” articles to the best directories. Only your best.

What should you look for in a Article Rewriter?

You want a rewriter that also remembers what you substituted a word for the last time, kind of like a built in artificial intelligence.

If you want to make money with your blog you have to learn how to write blog post that make money fast.

I know that you are waiting for me to give you some school teacher formula to help you, but that is not the case. Writing post that make money on the Internet are 2 totally different things.

I mean look at my post on here, I just sit down and start typing. I write like I am just sitting here talking to a friend of mine who is asking me how to make money from home. Sometimes I repeat stuff sometimes I drag a sentence on forever, sometimes I put these cute little things …

That’s not what it’s takes to write blog post that makes money. Actually, the uglier and the worse your writing is the more money you will make with Adsense anyway. Because people will see your ugly site, see your terrible writing and then click away. When they do this you will make money.

Most people get to hung up on writing award winning post that no one will probably read anyway. Or they have some crazy idea of what an “award winning” blog post really is.

Here’s my definition of an award winning blog post: It’s one that easily ranks on the first page of the search engines for its keyword, it’s one that is easily read by all readers, it’s one that makes money. That is an award winning blog post.

How To Write Blog Post That Make Money Fast On The Internet

IMPORTANT: I write every post with keywords in mind first. Why? That is my money. I first do some keyword research to see how competitive the phrase is and if I can rank for it quickly. I then rearrange the title of my post so that it has those keywords in it.

What do you look for in a keyword phrase?

One that I can rank for fairly easily.
One that I has advertisers and will bring me money.
One that targets people looking for “how to” do something.

You’ll probably notice that most of my blog post are titled how to… and has the words make money or something related. Like how to make money with a blog or something.

Those are the major factors. Usually I have an idea of what I want to write about, but just need keywords. Then I just head over to the Google External Keyword Tool and do some research or I pop open Keyword Elite. But lately I use that even less.

What are the most important factors in writing a money making blog post?

First, is that post going to make you money. If you are writing for Adsense, then you have to target keywords that will make you money for blogging (does it have advertisers on Google?). If you are writing to review a product, then you just want to write a honest review from the heart. People will respect that and then you will have more sales because of it.

Secondly, you need to target keywords that you can get ranked for fairly quickly. Now, every single one of you post won’t be like this, but a majority should. Sometimes you might just want to shoot the breeze.

You want search engine traffic coming to your homepage because you are ranked for your major keywords and you want search engine traffic coming to your individual pages because they rank for other keywords related to the main keyword.

But all in all you want search engine traffic. This traffic pays the best. They click ads, they buy products, and you are rewarded by Google (or Yahoo Publisher Network), by getting more money per click because you are delivering high quality traffic.

How Do You Write Like A Maniac?

If you want to eliminate the pain of writing and make writing fun, then you love this cool little way of writing blog post. It’s a little way of writing called “How To Write Like A Maniac” that was introduced by a guy named Ed Lewis. This way of writing makes it fun and quick.

Here’s the quick summary of how to write like a maniac:

1. Ask lots of questions.

2. Write in burst.

3. Know your audience, then pretend your writing to an imaginary friend that’s sitting right in front of you.

4. Write or type as fast as you can (like a lunatic).

5. Get in the zone. Just type (or write) physically really fast so that you don’t give your brain time to mess it all up by thinking. The only way to get in the zone is to start writing.

6. Don’t allow for distractions during these burst (no phone, no bathroom, no stopping for a break at all).

7. Don’t edit or analyze your writing while your blogging. The point is to get all of your ideas and thoughts out first.

8. Write from the heart. This is why earlier I told you I just sit down and start writing like I am just trying to explain to my friend “how to…” do something. I write like I talk for the most part. (Good thing I don’t have to worry about spelling when I talk. lol

9. Edit. I then do a once over edit and publish. I don’t care if everything is perfect. If people don’t like it they can just find a place that’s better for them to learn from. It won’t stop the search engine traffic from coming in and making me money, so who cares?

Ok this post has turned into one of those long ones again. That’s ok, I don’t even pay attention to length any more when I write like a maniac. I do some quick preparation as far as keywords go and that gives me a general direction, and then I start typing, next thing you know I have written 900+ words like this post (Actually it’s over 1,000). You only need them to be over 300-350.

This post is part of a series of post about how to make money fast from home. In this particular series of post we have been talking about using blogs to make money.

The reason for using blogs is because they are easy to set up, fast to set up, you can do it all for free, and you can monetize blogs extremely easily.

How To Make Money With A Blog – 7 Steps

Today I wanted to give you an overview of how this process goes, and over some future post I will go in more detail on each step.

1. Pick a hot targeted niche market. Your market is important because it will determine how much money that you can make. You want target a market that is looking “how to” do something. The more urgent that the matter they are looking for needs to be solved the greater chances of you being able to make money fast on the Internet. You want to target markets that are looking for “instant gratification”. That are looking for a solution to a problem that they would like to have out of their lives for ever or they are on the verge of buying now.

2. Find keywords for that market. Find the keywords that that niche market would type in to find that solution. You can start your search by heading over to the Google External Adwords Tool. You can find it by typing that phrase in Google. When you pick your final keyword phrase (targeted market) that you want to go after make sure that there is at least 3,000 searches a month for it and that there are less than 7,000 optimized sites competing for that keyword. There can be more, but I am talking about fast money. I want you to see some fruits of your labors in days and weeks not months and years. This is important for you to stick with the program.

Later on you can go after tougher niches. Please listen to this piece of advice. Once you learn this system you can easily repeat as many times as you want in as many markets as you want.

3. Set Up Your Blog. I am not going to go into great detail in the post about how to set up a blog for free because I have covered that in another post. But I will say that your layout should be like this:

…one post per page including the homepage, you should have a two column theme with the content on the left (just look at Yahoo and Google search results), you should have a huge 336×280 or 250×250 Adsense or YPN ad block above every post, each post should only target one keyword phrase, and each post should be at least 300 words long with good content, and your blog theme should be a plain (or minimalistic) as possible. The uglier the better because you want people to leave and click ads, this is one of the oldest tricks in the book. Just look at Google, their stock is over $420 a share in a recession.

They have a search function, two columns, ads above search results, on the side, and at the bottom, it’s has a plain white background and that’s about it. Those are the basics. Look at this blog, it’s simple. Look at the layout. Look at the ad placements. I don’t care if you don’t like it, Google & Yahoo do the same thing because it works.

4. How Often Should You Post? At first, because you want you site to get some content on your blog, you should post twice per week. Then the rest of the time you should spend getting links to each and every post and to the homepage of your post so that you can build authority and increase ranking. Once you are on the first page you can post when ever the heck you feel like it, but at least once per month.

Although I said that your post should only be 300+ words in length, you should really be aiming for 400, 600, or 1,000 or more words. Just look at some of the biggest authority blog networks on the Internet. They reward you for longer post and the search engines love them. I wonder why. Plus the longer the post the more “accidental” rankings you will have. You will see traffic coming in from all types of keywords.

But don’t think of it like school writing, it’s just what comes out of your head about the topic. 5. How To Get Traffic. There are a ton of ways to get traffic, but only one that I care about. Free search engine traffic from Google, Yahoo, MSN (Bing). This is how you can really have a high profit margin while also bringing in traffic on autopilot day in day out. This is the source that you should focus on to. The process of getting your site ranked high in the search engines is what we call SEO or Search Engine Optimization. It comprises of two factors: on page optimization and off page optimization.

On page optimization simply means putting keywords that your site is about and that you want to rank for in the correct places on your site. The main places that you want to put your keywords is in the title of your site, the title of the individual post on your site, in the site domain name, the headers, the internal links within post and navigation, in the first sentence and the last sentence, and a few times in a post.

Off page optimization is simply the process of getting links pointing to your site. This is the biggest factor by far for how you will rank in the search engines. You need links that point to your homepage and you need links that point to your inner pages, which is what we call deep linking.

Caution: The links that point to your site must say what you want to rank for. So, for instance if you want to rank for how to make money with amazon, then you need links pointing to your site that say just that. You will rank for what ever terms that link to your site say. You want to rank for terms that will make you money, you want to rank for the terms that you have targeted your blog for.

6. Making Money With Adsense. This is how you will make money with your blog at first. Later after you have a ton of traffic an #1 rankings you can test other methods. But for now this will bring in money fast and is more hands off. Just go to Google.com and click the advertising programs link. Then click Adsense and then sign up. Before you do this you want to have your blog set up and have some content on it.

7. Do it! I just gave you a simple system for how to make money with a blog, but it won’t work itself. You won’t make any money just know what I have told you. Go now and pick a market, find a keyword that you want to target, set up the blog on the Free Blogger platform, get some content on there, sign up for an Adsense account, and start getting links. That’s the short of it.
